Bobbin Lace

This is Torchon bobbin lace and the bobbins are the style used in the English Midlands. Some are bone, some wood, the spangles are there for weight and beauty! Robin has taken these photos with his new CanonS50. We both love this camera. You can actually see cat hairs in the work area! I didn't see them while I was working on the lace. By the way, the size shown for each photo is wrong. I compressed them for the web page after the Thumbnail software did its work and have not updated the captions to reflect their smaller size..
